After: 6 months after a Deep Plane Short Scar facelift. The patient was very happy with her natural results which will last for many years.
With the extended deep plane facelift, the retaining facial ligaments are cut allowing for the mobilization of the deeper SMAS and platysma muscle in a more superior (upward) direction without pulling on the skin. This creates the most natural and long-lasting facelift results.
