Procedure Description:

This 26-year-old patient presented with congenital vascular redness to the face as a result of a rare genetic disorder called ichthyosis (CIE variant). This disorder causes an abnormal skin barrier resulting in redness, facial flushing and scaling. With a series of 4 laser facial treatments, we were able to significantly reduce her diffuse redness and overlying patchy redness to the right cheek (her main concern). She has dealt with this condition since birth and is thrilled to have finally found a treatment option!
