THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts

Dear Dr. Ran Rubinstein:

On Saturday, November 3rltd our son, Brian, was seriously injured in a high school soccer game. We went to Arden Hill Hospital and were released with a diagnosis of a broken nose. The next day we received a call from a hospital representative and were told another radiologist reviewed the CAT scan and noticed a fracture of his frontal sinus.

Our dear friend, Dr. Ronald Israelski, recommended we see you for a second opinion. You took us in first thing Monday morning. You took one look at our son and at each of us and knew it was more than what we were told. After you examined him and then reviewed the CAT scan from the hospital, you recommended a rapid trip to New York City. You referred us to Dr. Constantino at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital at 10th and 58th who also saw us immediately and confirmed diagnosis.

On Wednesday, Brian underwent a seven-hour surgery by Dr. Constantino, Dr. Sen, Dr. Trados and others and remained in the hospital for the next week. He had his forehead, orbits and nose reconstruction with titanium plates and meshing, a spinal fluid leak repaired, his sinuses obliterated, etc. If you look at him today and did not know what he went through, you would never know. He is doing very well and looks greats.

We just wanted to THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for helping us in this time of need. We need disheartened with our experience with the hospital; however, confidence was restored in the Hudson valley through your and Dr. Israelski help. The possibility exists that you both saved his life. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel, but THANK YOU is a start.

Sincerely,

CC: Dr. Ronald Israelski
