Samuel Beran, MD, MBA, FACS is one of the founders and the Medical Director of the Surgical Specialty Center of Westchester and the managing partner of Cosmetic Surgery Associates of New York. Dr. Beran is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a nationally recognized cosmetic surgeon with more than twenty years of experience and has authored dozens of scientific papers, chapters, and a textbook on liposuction.
Dr. Beran completed his general surgery training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, followed by graduation as a plastic surgeon from the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern, in Dallas. He finished his MBA at UNC Kenan-Flagler. After spending several as Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Beran relocated to Westchester County, New York to be closer to his family.
Dr. Beran is the immediate past Chief of Plastic Surgery at White Plains Hospital and is on staff at both Northern Westchester Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital. In addition to being Board Certified, Dr. Beran has actually served as a guest examiner for the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Beran has been recognized by New York Magazine as one of the “Hot New Docs” and acknowledged multiple times by Westchester Magazine as a “Best Plastic Surgeon”.
Dr. Beran specializes in cosmetic surgery. Included in his expertise are breast augmentation and lifts, tummy tucks, liposuction, and mommy makeovers.
