About the Precision Tx Laser Lift
When the face ages, collagen production slows and the fat pads that used to give a subtle lift to the cheeks descend to the lower face. The bottom of the face becomes heavier than the top, creating an older appearance. The loose skin and wrinkles that form do nothing to help the situation. For individuals that are not interested in risky surgeries that require a long recovery, or who do not have the funds, this altered appearance is something they must learn to live with. However, many people do not know that there are several other options available that can solve their aesthetic problems. One such procedure is the Precision Tx Laser Lift. The Precision Tx Laser offers optimal contouring of the lower face and neck without invasive surgery, such as a facelift. There are few risks of complications and the downtime is shorter.
How does it work?
The Precision Tx Laser Lift works by delivering Nd:YAG 1440-nm laser energy to a targeted area of the face through a fiber optic wire inserted under the skin. The energy then does two very important things in order to give you the results you want. First, it melts the unwanted fat deposits. A small liposuction cannula will remove the fat through three very small incisions (stitchless) that are made under the chin and behind the ears for this purpose and to deliver the laser energy. Second, the energy tightens the connective tissue, resulting in noticeably firmer skin right away. At this point, collagen production has been stimulated and will continue to help improve the structure of the skin for the next 3 to 6 months. By 6 months you will see the final results of the procedure: a more youthful, refined jawline.
What is the recovery like?
Most patients are ready to return to work 2 to 3 days after undergoing a Precision Tx Laser Lift. It is normal to have some bruising and minor swelling. Bruising can be easily hidden with makeup, and swelling will subside after a few days. You may or may not feel discomfort. For those that do, over-the-counter medications typically do the trick. Something stronger can be prescribed by the surgeon in cases where it is necessary.
A compression garment will help to cultivate the best results, and may speed up the process. The garment will need to be worn 24/7 for 48 hours, but will then only be needed at night for 4 to 6 weejs.
Benefits of Precision Tx Laser Lift
In summary, Precision Tx Laser Lift is…
- less invasive than facelift surgery
- a procedure that offers minimal downtime compared to other techniques
- safer with few risks
- less costly
- performed with local anesthesia, rather than under general anesthesia
The Precision Tx Laser Lift will reduce the appearance of fat pads that have migrated from the cheeks and mid-face and found a home in the jaw and neck, creating an appearance of jowls, double chins, and/or a “turkey waddle.” Puffiness and sagging in the lower face is replaced by a sleek jawline and youthful contours. The appearance of wrinkles and lines is also improved considerably.
