BOTOX® Cosmetic New York

 

BOTOX® Cosmetic has become one of the most popular treatments at Dr. Rubinstein's Laser & Cosmetic Surgery Specialists, PC, and indeed the world. For over 10 years, we have offered effective BOTOX® therapy as a temporary solution to wrinkles and other facial conditions. This therapy is used to prevent and eliminate worry lines, frown lines, laugh lines, crow's feet, and other dynamic facial wrinkles (caused by over expression), on the upper third of the face (eyes, brows, forehead, etc). It has also been used to effectively treat the platysmal bands in the neck, hyperhydrosis (excess sweating) and sometimes to treat over expression in the nasolabial folds.

A few drops of BOTOX® are injected into the muscle that creates the wrinkle, and works by relaxing these tiny facial muscles, smoothing out the skin's surface. BOTOX® injections block nerve impulses to the muscles that cause over expression---leaving the overlaying skin smooth and wrinkle free. BOTOX® therapy leave you with a younger more relaxed looking face.

BOTOX® is a remarkably safe therapeutic agent for wrinkles, and has no known system side effects. It can cause temporary bruising however. In rare instances, BOTOX® can cause temporary weakness (less than 3 weeks) in surrounding muscles resulting in drooping of an eyelid or asymmetry of facial expression. However, the pain associated with our New York BOTOX® procedure is minimal. The effect of BOTOX® injections typically last about 3 to 4 months, while regular injections help delay the aging process as well as maintain the effects of rejuvenating surgery.

When combined with Restylane injections and Laser Facials, BOTOX® is especially effective, and provides even more dramatic results. Restylane injections fill in the wrinkles in the lower third of the face (cheek folds, lip lines, etc). Microdermabrasion, glycolic and Jessner peels, and Laser Facials eliminate fine lines, age spots, spider veins, while toning and softening skin.

While our prices are competitive, we advise you to not fall prey to dangerous bargain BOTOX®, which has often been proved to be bogus, badly administered, or highly diluted.
