Office & OBS Supervisor
Tara brings over 20 years of medical administration experience to Laser & Cosmetic Surgery Specialists. She is in charge of running our state of the art office based surgery suite and assists Sue in scheduling surgeries. As the practice supervisor, Tara oversees all aspects of the office to make sure that your office/surgical experience is a pleasant one.
Sue
Patient Care Coordinator
Sue is the newest addition to our practice, we welcome her as our new Patient Care Coordinator. She assists Dr. Rubinstein in consultations and scheduling of surgeries. In addition to her knowledge of marketing and graphic design she brings with her years of experience working and volunteering with The American Cancer Society, Trestle Inc., and The International Education Exchange.
Jackie
Patient Relations
Jackie is often the first person to greet you when you enter our office. She is in charge of the front desk, and has extensive knowledge of the services and products we offer. Jackie brings with her over 15 years of customer service and medical office experience. She is an invaluable asset to the office and her warmth and friendly demeanor will help make you feel relaxed and right at home.
Marissa
Medical Aesthetician
Before becoming an esthetician, Marissa was and continues to be, a highly sought after personal trainer. She brings her unique ability to motivate and educate people on how to stay fit into her new passion, medical esthetics. She has more than 6 years of experience working in some of New York City’s most prestigious medical spas. Marissa specializes in fractional laser resurfacing, non surgical skin tightening, laser hair removal as well as chemical peels. She has trained with the most respected physicians in the field and continues her training to keep abreast on the latest technologies in the skin care industry.
Elmaria
Patient Relations Assistant
Elmaria is a new addition to our growing practice. She has over 10 years experience in customer service and sales with various pharmaceutical companies. Elmaria is multi-talented and works with Jackie in the front desk.
Elaine
Nurse Practitioner
Elaine is Dr. Rubinstein’s nurse practitioner and has over 15 years of nursing experience. She oversees many of the clinical aspects of the practice. Elaine is actively involved in your pre and post operative care. She also assists in our surgical suite recovering our patients post anesthesia. Elaine has her own following of patients who request to see her for their ENT, sinus and allergy issues. Elaine is also actively involved in Heal the Children missions to third world countries where she donates her time assisting in reconstructive surgeries.
Natalie
LPN
Before becoming a nurse (LPN since 2007) , Natalie worked as an electrical engineer for IBM for many years. Natalie’s ability to learn quickly and multi task has made it possible for her to successfully wear many hats in Dr. Rubinstein’s practice. She uses her friendly demeanor in motivating our patients thru their treatment and healing process. In addition to running our allergy department, she assists with office procedures as well as surgeries performed in our office based surgery center
